How do people! I’ve been asked to write my first show report for the SL website, and I’m no expert at this so you will have to bare with me!!

For the weeks leading up to the show I had been getting really excited about attending this, as its my first show with Street-Legal. The day started off with a few of us meeting up at Raunds Footy Club at 7.30(ish), and after Andy handed out the tickets and passes to everyone there, we headed over to the meeting point at Tesco in Wellingborough. After seeing everyone there and having a little chat for a while, we all got in our cars and started the convoy to Santa Pod.

With my little Corsa trying to keep up with the bigger engined cars we arrived at Santa Pod and starting queuing to get in. This seemed to take forever, but eventually we made it round to the SL stand which was fairly easy to find.

After parking up and giving the cars a quick polish up, I got some snaps with my new camera and have to say, the cars looked awesome!

We then went off for a wander round the different stands and saw some really sweet cars. Some were, erm… how can I say this… different! But a show wouldn’t be a show without them!

After looking at the other cars we took a trip over to the drift arena where Terry Grant was showing off his driving skills and watched the monster truck destroy some more cars!! We also watched some of the strip action and saw the Jet car go up, after that I could not hear a thing for 5 minutes!

After walking round the show 4-5 times it started to get a bit samey so I left mid afternoon so I didn’t get stuck in the traffic!

Overall I thought the show was awesome, and a good start to the show season for SL. (even though I’m suffering from Pod Face big time!)
