Where do I start with such an eventful weekend. Thursday saw the shopping trip where everyone piles up to Asda and stocks up on there booze ready for the weekend ahead, while the club collects the food for the weekend bbq. The atmosphere was on a right high with everyone excited about the next day.

Friday was the big day, everyone met up early in the morning for a big cleaning session. As more of us turned up we moved down to Raund’s Football Club where we met the remaining people and had a quick kick about whiles the van was being loaded up ready with all the marquee.

We finally started the convoy about 3pm and made the awaited drive up to Donnington Park. Upon arrival the lads set off to set the marquee up (not forgetting to take a beer with us) whist the girls were setting up the tents. While waiting for organisers the bouncy ball come into full use across the massive ground. The marquee went up in no time with all the help of everyone and we head back to the camp site.

When we got back we got the bbq on the go and the start of the burger diet began. Bill supplied the light with the wind up torch wile Ed set up his DJ equipment out the back of the van and the raving began! Aztec introduced us to the newest member to the lightweight club who was passed out in his car by 10pm. He was soon awoken with the use of glow sticks. The drinking and raving continued way into the early hours where it turned cold and everyone retreated to their tents.

Saturday saw an early start and all the cars convoyed over to the stand where Maitland organised out all the cars into order and the DJ equipment was set up in the marquee.
As more and more members of the group turned up the stand got bigger and bigger and looking better at each moment, with cars which just shocked us on how good they looked. But just as every car was cleaned and polished good old British weather kicked in and the heavens opened.

Most of us went off and watched some of the track time and witnessed one of the most memorable parts, a Nissan note killing everything on the track including cars like the focus rs, and bmw’s.

We arrived just back in time when the winds picked up and we saw the marquee try and take off everyone piled into it and pulled it back down and help dismantle it to save it. With a bit a brute force the marquee was back to its shape and ready for the next day.

The afternoon entertainment was our resident EDC drifter Dan Eyles, who acheived an amazing 4th place in his Skyline! We cheered him every step of the way through the top 16 and he didn't dissapoint.

Everyone headed back to the camp site where 10 of us decided we needed to get some heat and headed back to our houses to for a warm soak in the bath. Meanwhile the hardcore lot camped it out though the snow (dedication at its best!!).

Was an eventful drive back for those who went home in the snowy conditions and Rizzo nearly being taken out by a legacy which slid out in the snow right in front of his car and then crashed down the slip road. (I think everyone in Rizzo’s car was touching cloth at that point). Once arrived the cars were in desperate need of a clean after some being stuck behind a road grittier.

Slowly all the hardcore campers re-emerged again at the stand looking a little worse for wear from the heavy night of drinking and raving in the cream dance tent, but the marquee soon back up on the stand and the music was pumping out again.

Later on in the day the big time come which we found out that we had become Second on best club stand! Everyone was ecstatic with this result. Showing that the new look is working and it is liked! With first going to street-stylers and third going to local club night-riders big well done to both of them on there results!

The last of the day went though quick with Andy and Ed signing up for some track time for the evening and the dismantling of the stand begun. The van was loaded up ready and everyone headed over to watch Ed and Andy on track. The slow convoy home then begun and everything packed up away back up the unit ready for the next show.

On behalf of all the Admin / Legends / Supporters we would like to thank everyone that turned up and supported the site and hope to see you again at the next show!
