This years JapShow has probably been one of the top calendar events for me, so I was definitely looking forward to the show. After last years wash out it was nice to know it wasn’t going to rain, hopefully anyway!

The stand was booked and it was nice to know we were having more new members to the ever growing site, Baz Civic and Zoe, and Scottboy who came from Wales!
We all met nice and early at Raunds BP, then headed over to Wellingborough Tesco to meet Tegboys friend (jimmy I think!?). After waiting around for a while and all eating the food we took we headed of to JapShow, seeing the typical skylines and 200’s racing about…
Once we got to Pod, about 9am! I was so surprised to get there, and see that there wasn’t any queue at all! We literally drove straight in, nearly managed to get Aaron in for free, until I put the back window of the evo down instead of the front and then once me and lee had given our tickets we attempted to drive off the girl says “and the person in the back?” as I turn round and say “oh there is somebody in the back!” haha! That still makes me laugh now, as silly as it is!

Once we got in and saw the bog site where our stand was meant to be, we just decided to say we were going on the track (me in the evo - yeah right!) and parked up near where we camped last year at USC. I still got a wet foot when getting out though - in flip flops! Unfortunately Bazcivic got some mud splattered on his car and this affected his paint, and bless him he spend most of the day cleaning it all of, I think it did come of in the end!?
With the show itself, I thought it was pretty poor, compared to JTS the club stands were rubbish and the show itself had a really boring feel to it. The show and shine wasn't up to much, but I'll let the pictures do the talking…

As for strip action we watched a bit of this, and then Gem nearly sat on a dead rotting bird with maggots coming out of it! Which was funny, no offence love lol, then the maggots started going on Irish’s trainers!
The drifting wasn’t very good either, but that never really takes my fancy, the smell of burning tyres never really is very nice! Did get to see some good cars at the show in the end, Civic Jordan were there, and also the MLR with candy Kane (of SL) with his car looking very nice too!
Overall the show was ok, could have been better, but a good and laughable day none the less!
